Measure your cushion stack
Stack your dry cushions as you intend to store them. Measure the width, depth and height of the entire stack. Pay attention to the longest cushion, rigid backrests and any edges that stick out.
Allow enough space without squeezing the cushions tightly. This makes them easier to remove and avoids having to push the lid down against the contents.
Compare internal space, not just litres
Compare your stack with the stated internal dimensions of the selected version. External dimensions tell you how much space the box takes up. Capacity in litres is a useful guide, but does not replace checking the measurements.
Check the opening too: hinges, the lid mechanism or a narrower opening may affect how easily items fit through. If essential internal dimensions are missing, ask us before buying.
Check the location and intended use
Measure the space where the box will stand and check that the lid can open fully next to walls, railings or furniture. Allow enough room to reach the box comfortably.
Check the weather resistance and storage advice for your specific model. Only use a box as a seat if this use and its load capacity are expressly stated for the version you choose.

Frequently asked questions
Will the same cushion stack fit every box with the same capacity?
No. The same volume can come in different shapes. A tall, short box may not fit long cushions, even if its capacity in litres seems large enough.
What if only external dimensions are given?
Do not estimate internal dimensions from them. Wall thickness, bases and mechanisms vary. Tell us the model and your cushion measurements so we can check the relevant dimensions.
What should I check when a product has several versions?
First choose the size or version you want. Then check the images and dimensions for that selection. Do not assume that information for another version also applies to yours.
